  • After receiving the online inquiry, it is directly forwarded to our office administrator's email. Normally, they will reach out for an initial contact by calling the provided number in the form. If there's no response, an email will be sent containing our firm's introductory consultation fee. Upon payment of the fee, the admin can schedule an introductory call to discuss concise case details and categorize it within our firm's practice areas.

  • Our Office Administrator at Kiswani Law, P.C. serves as the initial point of contact for all inquiries.

  • If your case doesn't fall within our firm's practice areas, the admin can refer you to a different attorney who does handle that type of case.

  • You can anticipate a 10 to 15-minute call covering basic details about you, and any case details you'd like noted before scheduling your consultation with Attorney Mohammad.

  • The timing is subjective to the attorney's calendar within the upcoming weeks. Please note that we are a boutique law practice and our new client consultations may occasionally be put on pause.

  • For all cases we will ask the names of each partner / parent so that we can complete a check for any conflicts of interest.

    For child support cases in particular we will ask general financial-related questions, each partner's occupation, the age and names of the children involved. Plus ideal case outcomes.

  • If there has been a previous consultation with your partner, spouse, or either parent, Kiswani Law cannot accept the case or arrange a consultation, regardless of whether they choose to move forward with the firm or not.

  • The admin can answer questions about scheduling, billing, and the general process after retention. However, no legal advice or retainer cost predictions can be provided. A retainer range may be given based on past similar cases.

  • Our Office Admin may be able to provide a general assessment of whether or not we can take on our case if it falls within one of our practice areas. For cases that don't quite fall within standard practice areas, a direct consultation with the attorney is necessary.

  • If we cannot handle your case, we will refer you to another attorney from our referral sheet who does take on those types of cases.

  • Yes, if we give you a referral that means that we are familiar with the type of law that firm practices, so we can almost certainly confirm their capability.

  • You will need to book a paid consultation. Upon payment, our office admin will schedule a consultation time that suits both you and the attorney.

  • At our firm we best describe our consultation process as an opportunity to discuss your case with our team and ensure that Kiswani Law is a good fit. At the end of your paid consultation, the attorney will be able to discuss the best steps for your case.

  • Typically, a consultation is between the potential client and the attorney. With prior agreement, however, clients are able to bring with supportive family members or friends.

  • Phone consultations last up to 30 minutes, Zoom consultations up to 45 minutes, and in-person consultations are booked for a full hour.

  • Plan to arrive a few minutes early to fill out a more detailed client intake form. For the consultation some clients will bring relevant notes or reports for the attorney to review. Upon retaining our firm, be prepared to provide additional documentation such as your driver's license or social security number.
